HCG Challenge Intro.
Hi! I'm Lissette and I'm ready to start my HCG challenge. I'm 48 years old and currently weigh about 186 lbs. with a 5'5'' frame. At a younger age, I could eat anything I wanted and never ever gained any weight. Losing weight was merely as simple as just deciding that I would weigh whatever I wanted to weigh and it would just magically happen. Up until the age of 28, I never weighed more than 120 lbs. Exercise or not, it didn't matter. Then, I went on the birth control pill and my life changed forever. The first 20 pounds took about six months to pile on, but after that, the next 20 lbs. came practically over night. No matter what exercise/diet program I did (American Ski Team Diet, Nutrisystem, Dr. Atkins, fruit fasts, water fasts, Master Cleanse to just name a few), I'd lose with great difficulty and gain it all back much more quickly. My highest weight came in 2006 when I reached 216 lbs. I then did a very restrictive diet and lost 76 pounds. I also lost most of my hair and all of my nails were ruined, I had chronic dizzy spells and felt generally very unwell. As soon as I quit the diet, the weight started to pile back on but at least I felt better physically and my hair started to grow back. My nails have never recovered. After researching many other diets, I've come to the conclusion that the HCG challenge is my only hope for rebalancing my body's metabolism getting back into the shape that I know I can have and want. I'll post regularly to keep the changes and improvements documented.

Hi Lissette,
You and I are both around the same age, and we both know how tough it is has been to get the weight off! I'm excited about our being in this challenge, and know that we're going to see some fantastic results. Best of luck to you!
Hi Lissette,
I just had my 48th birthday in January and feel a kinship with you. Weight has always been an issue with me all my life. You and I weigh almost the same and are almost the same height. I'll be cheering you on as we go! Best of luck!
